Pre-employment Psychological Screening
B. A one-on-one interview with the psychologist which will review all personal and work history, the test results and any other area which may need exploration. These are typically 30-50 minutes in length.
C. A verbal report to the authorized representative of the public safety agency within twenty-four hours. A written report will be created which will include a conclusion on fitness to meet the job requirements of the position and an L-3, when appropriate, if the person passes. The written report will be mailed within 3 working days of the evaluation.
Lehman & Associates will provide all supplies, administration and scoring of the instruments. Pre-employment evaluations will be provided at the offices of Lehman & Associates in Richardson, TX. The office has the capability of providing twelve pre-employment evaluations on Mondays through Thursdays and five evaluations on Fridays.
Notes:
Lehman & Associates provides the capabilities for internet scheduling of pre-employment evaluations 24 hrs/day, 7days/week. The public safety agency may be granted access to the online schedule and can then schedule pre-employment evaluations without the need to make a telephone call to the office. This service is currently used routinely by several investigators and departments to make appointments. Staff are available in the office from 8am to 4pm Monday through Friday. Lehman & Associates currently uses the Timetrade Scheduling Software. Registration is possible from the login page.
Record Keeping
Lehman & Associates will provide a written report, an L-3 when applicable and contingent upon the candidate passing, and any departmental forms to the public safety agency. Lehman & Associates will maintain the raw test data and protocols and their personal notes on the evaluation interview. All records maintained by the offices of Lehman & Associates will be kept in accordance with professional standards, including confidentiality and privacy, as set forth by the Licensing Act for Psychologists. No records will be released to anyone other than the department without their express written consent.
