Post Deadly Force Trauma Counseling
Dr. Lehman, Dr. Miller, and Dr. McCracken have training in Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD) and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM). They have extensive experience in debriefing deadly force trauma for police and fire agencies. These services will be provided in individual or group formats, whichever is considered more clinically appropriate, either at the offices of Lehman & Associates or on-site. Appropriate handouts of relevant information about techniques to manage critical incident stress will be provided. The doctors at John Lehman, Ph. D. & Associates agree that the best use of these debriefing and counseling services can be found if done approximately 48 hours after the event whenever possible.
